Drum roll please..... for the May Feature of the Month:

Congratulations to Penny @ Penny's Vintage Home!

Our friend Penny from Penny's Vintage Home, has shared many of her beautiful home decor ideas with us here at Vintage Charm over the past year and a half. While they're all incredibly charming, this one by far has garnered the most oohs and aahs. Her Shabby Chic World Globe  is just one gorgeous example of all that Penny and her blog represent: romantic, shabby chic cottage living. So when you stop by to see her lovely globe, stick around and check out some of her other home decor projects. You won't be disappointed! Congratulations, Penny!

Vintage Charm Features of the Week:

Cecilia’s Pick

AnnMarie from Musings of a Vintage Junkie has gone Crazy for Succulents and you will too when you see the whimsical projects around her home and garden! The chicken feeder planter is my favorite, but you won't want to miss her darling wreath, so be sure to pop over to see her creative ideas!

Fabiola at Fabi Fabu found a vintage jewelry chest that was in need of a makeover. She started by painting it a lovely shade of blue. The window on the door is stained glass, so to give the door a vintage look, she painted the inside of the window with gold paint and distressed it. She then distressed the whole piece with a gold paint to coordinate with the stained glass window door. The result is incredible. Hop on over to Fabi Fabu to see this Vintage Jewelry Box Makeover and two more she completed recently.

Mary, from The Boondocks Blog really hit a homerun with her laminate table makeover. As part of her monthly International Bloggers Challenge, she gave a fabulous facelift to a tired old laminate-topped table. Infused with inspired colors from her current homeland in Greece, the table went from drab to fab in no time! After you check out her Greek Beach Table you can stop by and visit with some of her international blogger friends as well.

Diana’s Pick

I've been loving these farmhouse style trays for quite a while now and seeing this one from Diana at Dreams Factory put a big smile on my face. Everything about it is just perfection--those wonderful farmhouse handles and the French graphic on the white background--ooh la la. In her tutorial available over at The Graphics Fairy, Diana gives all the details necessary to create a French Farmhouse Tray of your very own.

    1. I have to agree about that globe. And shed a tear. I just took one to the thrift store a few weeks ago. I even told my hubby "I'm going to regret getting rid of this" haha! I LOVE the Blue Heaven dishes! I have not seen those before. I have the Taylor Smith and Taylor Boutonniere as my every day dishes in the same colors. Thanks for hosting the party!
